RESUMED DEVELOPMENT FOR AGENCY OF FEAR

It's been lazy times by now, but I decided and I remembered that I have to put that hard work into Agency of Fear to make it a good game.

One thing is clear though, it won't release this summer. I'm fixing every bug, adding new features, more gameplay, etc. The game will have multiplayer, and I don't know if it should've gotten to the point where I'm afraid to release this game. But I should worry about that in a few months.

With the multiplayer, I added a playermodel, because otherwise, players will be invisible and that kind of sucks. Just remember one small thing: I added CD cases with games around the office with the covers of my games and one other game for my special guest. You have to guess it.

I hope you are all good.

Agency of Fear - Making Of + What is next?

Agency of Fear is Futuresoft's biggest project since it was founded in 2020. Unreal Engine was a new engine for us and we learned it throughout the development of Agency of Fear, and we are working on many other Unreal Engine 4/5 projects, but as usual, we're not sure all of them will release, some are concrete ideas and others are simple prototypes. Normally, during a game's development, each thing you add takes time and it isn't easy, but we would like to say a couple of things. The easiest thing to develop in Agency of Fear was the map , but it took 80% of the whole game's development. Good maps, bad maps, removed parts, added parts, concepts, ideas, etc. It took the most time as for maybe every videogame ever with multiple maps. So in conclusion, the maps weren't hard to make, but it took very long, considering we didn't want a short game. The hardest thing to develop in Agency of Fear is related to scripting, and it was the save system , there were...

Agency of Fear - Cut content

Agency of Fear had a pretty long time of development, and as any game, it has cut content and lost media. If anyone still has the files to previous demos, they can probably still find some of this content, as not everything that wasn't needed had been removed from them, but the final game doesn't really have any unused files in it. Alright, so let's go. First off, Agency of Fear was never meant to have office parts with cameras and flashlights and all that. There should've been parts where the enemies were supposed to chase you, but we decided the interiors were too small and unfitting for such things. Now, from the beginning, we planned for the game to have multiple endings and there should've been so many variations to how the game ended. We decided to scrap this, as our ideas would change the story and we wanted to make a DLC that involved a continuation to the story, but as of now, we're still thinking of this. Before scrapping the endings, one ending would ...

STUFF IS GREAT πŸ˜ƒ

Seriously, Futuresoft right now is going so well. Recently, a lot of people suddenly started downloading my games. Ancient Brute Souls will release very soon too, as it only requires play testing which will be done in a few days by a friend of mine. I personally have tested the game, but I want to know how much exactly it would take for a new player to finish it, and how they would play it.  I am also developing a new 3D FPS game, but no name shall be specified. I've also been working from time to time on a C++ 3D game engine, which was my forever dream project. I was just imagining a game engine of mine, and, hopefully, it will be finished one day.   Agency of Fear ... oh boy. It will be released in 2024, although I feel like it won't be enough time and it will have many glitches. I have lost all passion on the game, and whenever I open up Unreal Engine, it just feels like super hard work making the maps, and not only. It is a pain making the maps, because it takes a ...
